Tom Bartlett Gibson 1959 Les Paul

For sell this amazing 1959 Les Paul replica made by Canadian Luthier Tom Bartlett.


Guitar has traditional logo on headstock.

Only request during the build was sound of the guitar. Tom carefully selected top and body to match together to achieve perfect sound.


Guitar is made out of old growth honduras mahogany. Both solid body and neck. It has old growth Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with almost no pores and with that typical vanila smell.


Nitro is without plasticizers so there is checking visible on the guitar. Guitar was lightly aged by Tom so it has that vintage feel.


Neck is abit slimer 59 profile it was recomended that way by Tom - by his opinion slimer necks tend to resonate more. Its not definetly slim taper or anything like 60s neck.


Colour is Dark Burst which will fade over time because Tom used correct dyes.


Pickups are amazing ThroBak sle-101 mxv those alone go for 700 €. Faber hardware and ofcourse paper in oil caps.


I would never ever think that I would sell this guitar which was end of my guitar safari after buying and selling over 20 Gibson Historic Reissues R9. But I bought another Tom’s replica which has best flametop I have ever seen in my life but it was also much more expensive.


Nowdays I think build costs around 11000 € incl. shipping import tax and VAT plus almost year of waiting time. So this is truelly amazing opertunity to get Tom Bartlett Les Paul for amazing price and posibility to try it or atleast hear it before buying.
