The Manufacturing/Process Engineer (m/f/d) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for drive innovation and new ideas to improve productivity and automation in the assembly line.

This position is part of the Technical Operations team located in Baierbrunn/Munich and will be on-site. In this role, you will have the opportunity to

• Drive innovation and new ideas to improve productivity and automation in the assembly line

• Drive engineering changes in collaboration with the R&D team and ensure correct implementation of design changes

• Act as a change leader to define manufacturing methods (like work instructions, tools, jigs, Process-FMEA and check lists) for new and existing products

• Evaluate needed invest and assembly time of new production lines and cost saving programs

• Define and provide test equipment, ensure correct documentation and support validation projects

• Design new packaging methods
The essential requirements of the job include

• Master’s degree in Manufacturing/Production or Process Engineering or similar and some work-related experience in manufacturing processes (+2 years)

• Experience in the implementation of design changes in a manufacturing environment

• Know-how in Data Analyst projects (e.g. Power BI)

• Experience in working with interdisciplinary teams and implementing new ideas to improve productivity

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 apps and Project Management Tools (e.g. Miro, Smartsheet)

• Proficient in CAD&Simulation (e.g. Solidworks)

• Experience in lean manufacturing through QCC or Kaizens Event leadership

• Proficiency in English and German
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in

• Experience in internal and external ISO 13485 audits
