I love tuning pianos as it is a craft/trade that sets itself apart from the modern world. And every piano has its own character, for better or worse.


 GT Piano Tuning uses an ETD (Electronic Tuning Device). This allows a tuning guided by the specifics tone and character of your piano. As each piano is its own aural monkey puzzle,  the device allows for exacting records to be made from a tuning and specific records to be maintained for your piano.


If you have a piano needing tuned there are a few things to bear in mind. If it has not been tuned for a long time it may have drifted so far flat that it will require an extra process referred  to as an “over-pull” or “Pitch Raise”.  I would provide this for a further €30.


1.Pianos have a lot of things that can go wrong, but a lot can be identified by a tuner if you send me the following phone recordings (video or audio) 


It will only take a minuet.

Play all the notes on the piano from low to high. Let each Note ring for 2 Seconds 

Play all the “A” notes low to high, Let each note ring fully.
