This unit delivers the correct speed signal on his own WITHOUT the need of a rear axle speed signal and without the need of OEM Dashbord
it AVOIDS :
- ECU error mode because of missing speed signal
- low engine speed limiter to protect engine, thinking that the car stand still.
It ELIMINATES also
- the original speed limiter (f.e. 250km/h)
can also be used on all E36 models without the use of original tacho instrument cluster (for example race application)
can also be used as speed signal simulator for engines installed on engine dyno.

- 6 cyl M50 & M52 (Siemens MS41.0) - E36/E34/E32/E38
- 8 cyl M60 (Bosch DME 3.3) - E34/E32/E38
- M S50B30 (Bosch DME 3.3) - E36 M3
- M S50B32 (Siemens MSS50) - E36 M3 / Z3 M
- M S38B36 (Bosch DME 1.2) - E34 M5 3.6
- M S38B38 (Bosch DME 3.3 + Vmax) - E34 M5 3.8
Can NOT be used on newer versions who measures the speed signal over CAN. So NOT for engines coming from 3 E46 / 5 E39 or younger models.
Just cut and isolate the original ECU speed signal entry wire on the wireloom side and connect the WHITE/BLACK wire of the KEMPOWER unit on the ECU connector side. Supply +12V to the RED wire (through igintion key 15) and ground to the BROWN wire of the unit.
