Maybe you are a complete beginner, or maybe you already know a lot and you’d like to expand your skills with some guidance and accountability. I am happy to share what I know with anyone. All ages & skill levels are welcome!

I like to give my students the tools to teach themselves and I believe learning music can be fun and engaging, even when beginning.

I'll ask, 'what do you want to be able to do with the piano?' And then I can help you make a plan for how to get there.

I have a jazz background and I love to improvise. I have over 10 years of experience playing and performing music, specializing in jazz and improvised music. I studied in New Zealand, earning a Bachelor of Music specializing in jazz piano and composition. I have been teaching piano for over 7 years now, and have been living here in Berlin for over 5 years.

Location:
I offer lessons from a home music studio at my apartment in Plänterwald, Berlin.
I also offer online lessons on Zoom.


Language:
I generally speak and teach in English, though I can also speak some German to around B1 level.

Prices:
€10 - Trial lesson

€35 - 60-minute lessons (4x lessons paid at once for €140, to be taken within 2 months)

€45 - 60-minute lesson (one time)


Available times:
My teaching hours are between 10.30am and 6.30pm, seven days a week.
