Schöner handgefertigter Brieföffner aus der Poenix-Kollektion von Said & Alfred Haddad, Jezzine im Libanon aus den 50er Jahren.
Das Design ist von einem Jambia inspiriert.
Der Brieföffner ist handgerfertigt und besteht aus verschiedenen Materialien.
Der Griff hat die Form eines Feuervogels aus Horn mit Flügeln aus Messing und verschiedenfarbigen Intarsien aus
Kunststoff und Silber.
Der Griff des Messers ist aus Horn, der Kamm des Vogels ist aus roter Koralle. Komplett handgefertigt mit Inlay.

Vintage Antique brass letter opener solid brass blade. Hand carved horn bird with brass wings measures approximately 7.75" in Length. Unmarked but likely made in the mountains of Jezzine Lebanon by the Haddad family.

Jezzine's traditional cutlery
In 1770, the HADDAD family settled in Jezzine (south Lebanon) and created what is known today by "Jezine traditional cutlery"
Its production consisted at that time of army rifles, knives, and steel blade swords.
In 1930, the HADDAD family developed its business by creating handles with phoenix birds heads made of bones and buffalos horns. These handles were inlaid with colored bones and brass and were applied to spoons, forks, knives, paper-knifes, daggers, etc
Up till today, SOUHEIL & SAMIR
HADDAD are still developing this business.
Each single piece of this art is stamped " S&S HADDAD" and accompanied as a proof of quali-ty, by the lebanese cedar.
