The seventh issue of the Evolution of Life Series is dedicated to Hominidae, the oldest human ancestors. The motive features a fossil skull of a Paranthropus, which became extinct about 600,000 years ago. The Hominiade, also called apes, are one of our earliest ancestors who used tools and fire. Also included in the design is the inscription "HOMINIDAE" and an Oldowan stone, a prehistoric tool of the early Stone Age. The limited and partially gilded antique finish silver coin is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
