Erica Synths DIY Bassline Full Kit (Eurorack) - RARE!

Erica Synth's "Bassline" is a powerful, fully analog synthesizer voice. Their repertoire ranges from classically grooving to modern, brutal basses. Driving acid chirping is another specialty of this module. The bassline consists of an AS3340-based VCO plus sub-oscillator, a multimode filter based on the Polivoks model, a VCA and two envelopes. Two BBDs simulate detuning, which makes the module's sound significantly fatter.

The "Bassline" is played using 1V/octave, gate and accent inputs. The AS3340-based oscillator offers triangle, sawtooth and square waveforms to choose from. The selected oscillation is mixed with the levelable sub-oscillator and passed on to the filter. In addition, all three waves are available for tapping at individual outputs. The tuning of the VCO can be influenced by a tune potentiometer and an FM-CV input with attenuator.

The filter is a multimode circuit in the style of the Russian Polivoks synthesizer. You can choose between low-pass and band-pass characteristics. Cutoff frequency and resonance can be adjusted using potentiometers. There is also a cutoff CV input plus attenuator and a VCF decay envelope. High resonance values cause the filter to self-oscillate. By connecting, for example, the triangle VCO single output and the cutoff CV input, you can achieve great filter FM effects. For further sound adjustments, there is the so-called beef knob. This control allows you to mix in a circuit based on two BBDs to achieve detuning similar to a Unison function.

Finally, there is a VCA in the signal path. It is controlled by the module's second decay envelope. Results can be accessed from the main out socket.
