Dukoff Hollywood 1945 Tenor Saxophon Mundstück/restored

Beautifully restored original Dukoff from 45ish with the "X" serial number. Restored by Dukoff expert/nerd Kirill Poudavoff.

When I first received this piece it was in rough shape. Kirill said it was the "most f'd up" piece he's ever received. I appreciate his honesty. The bite plate was missing and replaced with something to make it work, and there were very thin places on the brass. Kirill did extensive work to fix the brass and adjust the facing, built a beautiful new period-correct bite plate and topped it off with a light touch of gold plate to hide the repair marks. It sits at around a 6* opening which would make D.G. happy.

The mouthpiece plays great and has plenty of punch. It is not a "woofy" sounding piece at all.
