Sehr formschöner Sessel von Grete Jalk in einer Ausführung in Teak. produziert von France and Son in Dänemark. Die Schaumstoffkissen neueren Datums sind mit einem blauen Stoff bezogen.

Der Sessel ist in seinen Holz-, sowie in den Polsterteilen hochwertig gearbeitet und befindet sich in einem sehr guten, stabilen Vintage-Zustand mit nur wenigen Gebrauchsspuren am Holz in Form von leichten Kratzern, leichten Verfärbungen und Bestoßungen. Das Holz wurde überarbeitet und der Staubfang unter den Kissen erneuert.

This beautiful lounge chair was designed by Grete Jalk for France and Son in the 1950s in Denmark. The elegant shape and the fragile proportions make this easy chair one of the most outstanding designs of the mid century era. The chair is manufactured out of massive teak wood and comes with comfortable foam cushions with blue upholstery.

The teak wood frame has been refinished and shows only some minor traces of wear and tear, nothing that distracts. The cushions have been renewed at some point and are not dating back to the 50s. The dust cover underneath the seat cushion has been renewed as well. The armchair’s overall appearance presents beautifully.
